The front desk staff were utterly amazing. This was my first stop and they made me feel very welcome and excited to be in the country. The only downfall is I found silverfish bugs in room and bathroom, which makes me think their overall building maintenance isn't the best. I camp often so bugs aren't an issue for me as silverfish are harmless but I know it can be for some. Sharon, from Canada ~ 10th Apr 2013

The staff has been very friendly and helpful at all times, the rooms were clean and are ok in relation to the price. The breakfast and the kitchen is a no go, concerning dirty dishes, cuttlery and table linen. There is not enough staff to take away the used trays and dishes from the tables, so it feels a little disgusting to have breakfast there or to cook in the kitchen. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Komisch war nur, dass wir ein 8er Frauenschlafsaal gebucht hatten und einen gemischten 12er Schlafsaal erhielten. Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ein Bad mit Toilette für 12 Menschen war jedoch entwas wenig. Julia, from Germany ~ 4th Aug 2012

I really loved this hostel, it was a very short walk to the center of the city and the rooms were very unique and cozy. The only thing that bugged me was that I had to take cold showers everyday because the water never warmed up. Other than that, great place. Maggie, from USA ~ 21st Jul 2012

A new staff member was not so friendly, quite abrupt, which we commented on on our departure. On arrival facility information was not advised by reception, we had to ask all the questions, even the basics.
