Good location and a little bit far from the tourist attraction.The hostel is very great and has excellent and friendly staff.However, be prepared for a one time linen fee of 2 to 3 euros.Its good to bring your own padlocks to use the lockers.Excellent wifi throughout the hostel even in your own room also.No breakfast included but cheap eateries and grocery stores are nearby.Very clean hostel! This hostel, built in an old-time West-Berlin hotel, is wonderfully located next to the Mecklenbruck U-Bahn.This is a rather good part of Berlin, so don't worry too much about security (although be sure to close the door behind you.)The staff (mostly students) are multi-lingual and very helpful. Their WiFi has much to be desired, but you can get your laundry done, visit nearby cafes, and store your luggage. NOTE: There are no lifts available, so prepare yourself walking up several flights. GREAT Hostel, go to the Grandwich bar and get the sandwich with smoked ham, cream chese, lettuce and tomato on a pretzel roll, I exclaimed "oh my god" in the middle of the street it was so good. Clean rooms, nice showers, and the staff will finish your laundry for you so you can spend time exploring the city. Only downside is no elevator. Good bar, nice neighborhood, go to Mustafa's Gemuse Kabab just a few blocks away. Joseph, from USA ~ 18th Oct 2012

Location near U bahn is excellent to and from Tegel and new airport opening soon. You can walk to many museums and places of interest. My room was spotless, bed comfortable. Hostel was quiet at night. I was very happy with my stay here. There is no lift but they do have handicap access on ground floor. Sandra, from USA ~ 19th Jun 2012
