No screens on the windows with a mega-mosquito problem !How expensive is a screen ? No ventilation with stifling heat - not even a ceiling fan and dozens of people in one "barracks"-like room.Only bathroom around the hall, through a public area, and down a flight of steps - and it was FILTHY !!!!! Never was cleaned during the three days I was there, and the sanitary products disposal containers were overflowing.I am a world traveler, and this is hands down the worst place I've stayed. karen, from USA ~ 19th Jul 2012

This hostel is not bad at all if you are on a budget. I drove there so it was easy to get around & didn't have to take the shuttle bus. I liked the location as it's quiet & away from town center (it might be an inconvenience for those who don't have a car). Nice big kitchen & big tables to eat. A bit noisy to sleep especially with lot of people walking around the dorm. I recommend ear plugs & eye mask :) and don't forget the bug spray!!!! (it's a must in Jasper). Nice hostel, a little expensive for big dormitories, confortable, this hostel is lost in the middle of the montain, if your haven't got car it's difficult to visit the national park around. I met nice people here, the atmosphere is nice and relaxing. Chrystel, from France ~ 18th Jun 2012

Great Hostel, Nestled in the woods just out side town. Scenic routes great access to trails. Camp fire, bbq very friendly guests and staff! Cant wait to see them all Canada day long weekend Denielle, from Canada ~ 21st May 2012
