Lot of noise in the street the saturday but normal in the red light district....the breakfast the location and the rooms are nice....i recommanded it !!!!

It really is in the heart of Amsterdam-excellent location, comfortable beds, clean rooms. And the breakfast was good. I would definitely stay there again!and again...=]

Wonderful place, very nicely decorated!! Really well located, you have everything quite close. Rooms are very nice, and it seems more a hotel than a hostel. Good breakfast, nice staff... The only very little things... no elevator (normal in hostels) and no cupboard in the room... but anyway, they are quite big!! Definitely my recomendation!!

One of the better hostels i stayed at. Good breakie (Cold cuts, boiled eggs, juice and coffee) and Wifi. Electronic key safe in the room to store all your valuables. The only real set back is that there is no elevator No more then 5 floors though).

We were a bit weary on booking at the Heart just because of the bad reviews it got on several sites, complaining about sheets getting rotated and bed bugs but we had no problems at all, we arrived late at night with a car and the "valet" service as such was finished so one of the guys from the hostel came back to where we had parked the car and drove around the centre of Amsterdam for about half an hour with us until we found a Parking spot, and then refused when we offered to buy him a beer!!!

GOOD LOCATION, GOOD BREAKFAST, TERRIBLE ROOMS: DARK AND ENCLOSED. TOO MUCH NOISE, TOO MUCH DRUGS (NOT ONLY MARIHUANA, BUT COKE AND ECSTASY). SOME PEOPLE GO TO AMSTERDAM FOR THAT REASON, BUT YOU SHOULDNT HAVE OVERDOSED PEOPLE LYING NEXT TO YOU IN YOUR ROOM.
