DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! unless your partial to getting twenty different kinds of rabies. it is without a doubt the filthiest place you will ever stay. the bathroom (if you can bring yourself to call it that) is just one room and if you like to wade around ankle deep in brown stinky water its definitely for you. don't expect to get any sleep because if you close your eyes you'll get shanked or robbed. there is no security so i suggest you would just be better off sleeping on the street at least the

It has free internet, free breakfast, and a TV, but those are about the only good things about this hostel. There are no lockers, and the room I stayed in was tiny and freezing. They don't turn on the heat, so the room is always cold and damp. The "common area" is tiny (2 tables, chairs, a desk with 2 computers), and not really a place you'd want to hang out. It's possible to walk from the hostel to the downtown area, but it is a bit removed; it's closer to vondelpark and the van gogh museum.

Location is good and staff is friendly and helpful but our room was so awful. There was 4 beds and a sink, no windows or aircondition so you have to keep the door open if you wanna have fresh air. Also there was no lockers. Luckily there is so much to do in dam so you dont have to spend extra time in hotel :)

This place can be a good choice if you don't mind sleeping with noise from the pubs next to it. It is clean an friendly, but check out time at 10am is quite early.

The rooms were so cramped and the staircase was very steep. It was not the most comfortable settings. One of the staff was rude as well kept questioning.but the best part of the hostel is that its right in the heart of Amsterdam so you dont have to worry about late nights. If only rooms were good...

A decent place to crash in the Leideplein area of Amsterdam. Close to tram stops and evening entertainment. Fairly close to Rijksmuseum. It was a bit cramped, but that's Europe. Things worked and were in good repair. Staff was friendly and professional.
