only location is fine.other things are very poor. the kitchen is only for the staff. wifi cannot work properly.only one bathroom for all the residents. bathing time also is limited. no lift or escalator , if you have large luggage you will be in trouble to take up the stairs. the power may suddently out of supply. a very poor hostel .

I am very sorry that you did not like my house. The building is a historical mansion with only 2 floors therefore I am afraid that yes in deed we do not have an escalator, but for heavy luggage we have Robert. About the power we have no problem nor restriction but during your stay the EDF (French electricity provider) was doing some work in our street so the wifi as well was a bit on and off for 48 hours. Most of the rooms have private showers, the communal shower is open from 7:00 am until midnight, and available for the cheapest dorm and a triple.

big disappointment!

I am lost really, I don't understand, I do my best for the place to be at its best. Your room is comfortable, clean, the bathroom is spacious. I though your enjoyed your stay. Can you please send me an email and tell me what you disliked? The villa is from 1870 it is an historical house with a garden it is pretty unusual so for its character can't do better. For the fun I think we are quiet normal though I do not want to run a place were customers get drunk in every corner, here people meet and socialize respectably. Can you please let me know what you expected exactly.

The DOOR to room was very POOR and the water stayed in the washbasin even I asked receptionist to fix it. PARKING is NOT FREE. There is NO KITCHEN. Only ONE SHOWER for 3 floores. KEYS to the rooms where on place from where everybody can take them.

Thank you for your review, I just would like to understand what was wrong with your door. About the washbasin it does get blocked by customers and we fix it that is normal. That is correct that we do not have kitchen facilities and the parking cost a cheap fee for the centre of town of 8 euro. I just wanted to clarify a little details about the keys security, they are located somewhere we reckon is the safest where they are under surveillance, nobody from outside can see where they are, and we can control walk ins and outs of our customers as we do not let visitors in. About showers we have at the moment 14 showers in the building.

This hostel is very easy to locate from the main train station (Nice Ville), it was literally just down the steps from there.It was very warm when we arrived in Nice, and the hostel was incredibly hot.Our room faced an inner courtyard, and there was virtually no breeze coming into the stale air.We felt like we were being baked alive.We went downstairs to see if there was another room available, but they said they were booked.And we asked if they had a fan perhaps?They said they'll search for on
