I had a very enjoyable stay at Lemon Spirit. The staff were friendly, very helpful in providing information about the city. I was astonished at how clean the place is kept.. There is a full-time cleaning staff who are constantly scrubbing, polishing and disinfecting. The neighborhood is quiet and charming... Away from the more bustling beaches like Copacabana and Ipanema. 3 minute walk to the beach! Breakfast is good but limited in variety. Overall, I was very happy and would recommend it! el recepcionista no nos ayudo mucho con un problema que tuvimos ,la habitacion cuando llegamos aun no aseabanla habiatcion,la habitacion no servia la manija paraabrirlo,laalgarabia duraba mas de las 23hrs y un baño estaba descompuesto ,el aire acondicionado lo deberian poner mas tiempo ,ypara nosotros que eramos 8 pax mayores de 50 años ,subir las maletas a las habitaciones estaba dificil y deberian tener la opcion de pagar en dolares itandehui, from Mexico ~ 9th Apr 2013

Realmente fue una muy grata sorpresa el hostel. La relación precio / calidad / ubicación es realmente muy buena. A favor, sobre todo la ubicación y las comodidades. De las mejores de nuestra estadia en Rio y zona. En contra, deberían ofrecer una mayor agenda de actividades para realizar de dia y de noche. El staff muy correcto y amable. I loved my stay here!! Security was a big concern when I was looking for a hostel, so I was happy to be in the upscale neighborhood of Leblon.The only downside to being in the nice, safe area is that you're a decent hike away from the nightlife in Copacabana. I especially loved having a bar in the hostel.Everyone gathered on the patio for a beer or caipirinha before heading out on the town and swapped adventure stories from their day.Nino the bartender makes the best caipirinhas!! The hostel is located in a very safe area close to many bars, restaurants, supermarkets and some clubs. And also the beach is only two blocks away. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast okay and the rooms have a nice stowage space under the bed which can be locked. I can only recommand this hostel! MONIQUE, from Switzerland ~ 10th Jun 2012
