Perfect place for backpackers on the go but don't plan to stay longer than a night. Rooms weren't to bad except for the fact that some girl had been a resident in our room for 3 months and was a quite nasty individual. Kitchen downstairs is convienent if you want to cook your own meal. Lockers outside the hall but they don't fit a hiking pack. Sheets aren't included you have to rent them. Lolli's Hostel was one of the best we stayed in over our 3 month trip! Fantastic staff, GREAT atmosphere and brilliant location. Our first night there we had a free dinner of home cooked Indian food and our last night a free dinner of home cook Czech food. Delicious! Every effort was made to create a homely, funky fun atmosphere in the common room and kitchen. The rooms are pretty basic but not bad. Also free bike rental and tea/coffee all day. I loved staying at Lolli's! The rooms are really quirky and cute and the main room downstairs always has friendsly people or a quiet space to read. The staff are lovely, kind and really helpful when i needed directions or help booking my next hostel. The free bike hire was great as it is a great way to see Dresden (if you avoid the cobbled streets.) I stayed in a few hostels in Germany and this is one I would definitely be recommending. The staff is super helpful and pleasant. The breakfast is pretty good if your there for a short time but if there for more than 2 days, I suggest shopping and storing food in their provided refrigerator. Location is Neustadt is good for bars etc, but a good walk from the Neustadt station.Its not a problem if you take a tram... I guess thats what Im trying to say, once you master the tram the location is fine.Great character, friendly staff. Will, from USA ~ 15th Jul 2012
