The hostel was just alright. I suggest getting a private room. The three person "japanese style" room and the shared rooms have open windows and no AC (terrible for going to Thailand, its hot almost all the time...and sticky). Since they have open windows that face the inside of the building you can hear everyone waking up and getting ready for the day and its a terrible racket to listen to when you want to sleep. Hostel is new and clean.Dorm room was very quiet but with no aircon, it was hot and stuffy. Great location if you are arriving by bus. My locker key opened 2 different lockers, so security is an issue. However, I informed the staff, so hopefully that will be fixed. Michelle, from USA ~ 30th Sep 2011

the location is great! near the phuket bus terminal and near the port to go to Phi Phi Islands (10min drive). This hostel is really clean and nice! It almost feels like a hotel. Great food in front of the hostel as well! If you can splurge, i would suggest the air conditioned room. But the fan room is doable! Great deal! Joanna, from USA ~ 7th Jul 2011
