It's really nice hostel. The hostel is run by family. They are so friendly & helpful but not pussy. I could drink with domestic students at weekend often. They were also nice. The location is not too good but ok. You can find many buses to go to old town & central railway station. One good thing about location is that LIDL is in walking distance. From the moment I stepped into Mamas & Papas Hostel I felt right at home. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The facilities were not only clean but warm and inviting. Breakfast is provided every morning. There is a quaint, cozy backyard where you can relax on a swing and eat fresh fruit grown right there. Papa even shared local Polish cuisine with us! The hostel is located a very short walk to a bus stop that will take you right to Old Town. Overall it was a great experience!! Michael, from USA ~ 22nd Aug 2012

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed at.In a peaceful, frog-laden residential area near the center of Gdansk (ten minutes by bus with service every ten minutes or so) it was a welcome break. Mama and Papa, and the reception girls, were amazing hosts who looked after every guest personally. The hostel was clean, the common area was perfect (TV, sofas, computers, kitchen, etc.) and I never had to queue for a bathroom. I stayed five days and could have stayed longer! Excellent stuff, specially Mama and Papa. If you need any help they will give you that!! We arrived there at night and Mama was waiting for us and it felt like you were coming to your own home:) We liked the atmosfere there very much.
