This place is in a fantastic location, for anyone who wants to maximize their time in old town Dubrovnik (which is a great way to see it in the mornings and at night, when it's not overrun with cruise ship tourists), soaking up the historic atmosphere in a bright and friendly place. The only thing that makes it better is the staff. Mike is a charming host and a true gentleman. Be sure to compliment his map collection. But someone please bring him an up-to-date map of Albania. the owner is a former wall street guy who picked up and moved to dubrovnik and opened this hostel. we had a great time hanging out with the staff and other hostel guests. the owner is quick to give you tips and multiple options of how to do something. we had a great time while we were there. the set up is bunk beds. good size room, clean, etc. they have some food/coffee for breakfast. definitely in a great spot. This was one of my favorite hostels in Europe. The environment was great, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the location was prime in the middle of the Old Town. The common area was great for meeting people, the kitchen was equipped. Also had computers with internet access and stablel wifi. The owner and the staff were great!
