As agreed I sent a mail with our arrival time, but we may still call him. The sink was filled with dirty crockery, the bathroom was filthy and the room was very dirty. We complained of the lack of cleaning, he said that he had not had time Kathe, from Denmark ~ 17th Aug 2012

I appeared to be the only guest for two nights in high season. Maybe the reason was that there are cheaper places in Pécs, or that it's not a very popular summer destination. But the hostel was fine, I was in a room with four beds used as a single for me. Fridge, tv and even a computer in the room. Otherwise a kitchen and shower outside. Everything was clean and worked. Very convenient and easy to find from railway station. Maybe a bit expensive, but I would definitely recommend it. Paul, from England ~ 9th Jul 2012

We got a room with a bedbank. there was carbage between the wall and bedbank (lying there for ages). mouseshit on the matras, there were no covers for the "dekbed". After paying on Arrival we didn`t see the owner again. There was no breakfast. The bedbank was hard and uncomfortable. There was no cleaning of the bathroom or toilet. The pjoto` s on internet seemd to be taken in another hostel. We advice everyone to stay out of the hostel unless you` re very desperate or reallu can`t pay anymore. It is not 24hr reception - once we checked in we didn t see the owner again. Better to tell him when you are arriving so he is there otherwise you have to call him (phone number on the door). Kitchen and bathroom need a good clean but rooms were OK. Kitchen way too small to use. Close to train station and walking distance to town. Aimee, from Australia ~ 8th Jun 2010
