Friendly and helpful staff, good environment. My room was on the 5th floor and the hostel structure is on the 2nd floor of the building, so I had no WiFi connection upstairs. The staff was kind and helpful. The wifi was quite weak on the 5th floor, it was perfect only the 2nd one. Not only the wifi but the heating was also weak in our room. Finally some glass in the room would be useful. Viktória, from Hungary ~ 7th Dec 2012

Visited OnaBarcelona hostel few weeks ago and I will come here next time I am in Barcelona. My small 2 people room 58 had great bed where I slept as a baby after I checked my email via fast and free WiFi. The bathroom is next door, it is clean and peaceful. Location is also very good, because it is close to everything (metro, bikes, market, sights). I just was surprised of throwing paper into trash instead to toilet (culture?). Nice hostel. If you want a private room it is expensive ( you might as well go to a hotel if you are not going to use the kitchen). The staff is really great though. Especially Vendula and Sergio! This Hostel is very clean and well located 100m from the subway that takes you directly to the center. Also you have buses nearby. There's 2 computers and there are not to busy. Good evaluation, but with reserves. Good location, although no sign outdoor. Thee is a litle sign 6cmx6cm on the door bell. It's hard to locate an we had to ask twice.. as did other previous guest judging by the feedback. It's clean and confortable but the bathrooms are across the social area. I thought the location was great it was close to some of the major sights such as Sagrada Familia, Casa Batllo. The metro stop a block away from the hostel makes traveling to destinations not within walking distance (such as the beach, although you could walk but it's far) very accessible.
