Ostello Corniglia in , Italie

When I arrived at the hostel I was asked to pay the full tariff because the '10% deposit' taken when I had booked on hostels.com was their (hostels.com) commission. This is misleading on the website because the 10% is described as a deposit and therefore should be deducted from the tariff of the hostel.Watch out for this one!! This hostel was very clean and secure (lockers in the room which were big enough for all your stuff, including your bag), towels and sheets are provided which is a bonus, and the rooms and bathrooms were cleaned daily. The wifi is cheap (€0.80 for an hour) which was also really handy. Only draw back is the staff - with the exception of one lovely guy, the rest seem very disinterested and even annoyed by people staying there - they don't give advice on trails ('ask the tourist office') and o Emma, from England ~ 1st Oct 2012
