up a very steep hill but close to a great lookout over cusco and not far down to the plaza de armas. breakfast was great also!

Very nice place to stay. More like a hotel than a hostel, but it was very comforting my first night in Cusco. The staff are wonderful, and the place is kept spotless. It´s not a bad walk from the square, just a rough walk your first night in town (a few stairs to climb). I would recommend this to anyone wanting a safe friendly location.

Anyone coming to Cusco who would like to feel like the hostal CARES about you should come here. It is the cleanest facility I have ever stayed at and the staff is the very best. The hill to get to it is a "lung-tester" and that is not an exaggeration. R. Morris, Eugene, OREGON

This is a fantastic hostel to stay in and it was perfect for our stay as it was nice and quiet - good to recover after the Inca Trail. The place is so clean and the staff were very helpful - the provided us with a packed breakfast for two of our early morning starts. Breakfast is delicious. The only minor downside is that you have to climb some steep stairs but this was not a major issue. We had great views of the Plaza from our room and the terrace. Definitely recommend this hostel if you

This hostel is basically a hotel, but with common bathrooms. The place is immaculate, and full of charm. The courtyard is very pleasant, and the views of the city from the window are wonderful. The staff is very friendly and provide you with coca tea upon arrival to ease altitude sickness. Perhaps the only downside is that to get to the hostel from the main square, you have to make a legnthy climb up the street stairs. This can present quite a challenge during your first few nights at Cuzco´s

Excellent hotel with awesome location. Only 5 minutes walk to the main square. Very clean, cozzy and friendly and helpful staff. We stayed there on three different occasions and every time had different rooms. They all were clean and warm.

This is an amazing hostel - clean, the location seems like it's a bit off, but it's not at all. It's a great value and I wish I had known about it before I booked a hotel in Cusco - I would have stayed here instead!!!!

We stayed here based on a friends recommendation and it was wonderful! The hostel overlooks the plaza and has a lot of character. The staff was very accomodating. It felt like you were staying with a family. Highly recommend it - not sure why you´d stay in a hotel when this is an option. only negative is there are a lot of stairs to get there but even so it is still 5 minutes from the plaza. After a night out you can take a cab if you don´t feel like climbing for $1. Loved this place!
