Alba D'oro is near the airport so it can be easily reached by bus. There are regular buses to Venice and you can get there in 20 minutes (tickets for 1,10 euro).
Very good place to stay if you are travelling on a tight budget.

This campsite was amazing! Everyone was wicked friendly and the trailer we stayed in was clean. The bathroom connected to our trailer had a great shower and hot water! I only stayed 2 nights, but would stay here again. The only down fall was taking the buses-from Venice the campsite is about 30-40mins away and the last bus to the campsite is around 11ish. Other than the buses and being far away-it was well worth it for a great night sleep.

The camping does not have kitchen nor even a common room which is the minimum anyone expects. They said, we have restorant, but the simplest meal costed around 10 Euros! The customer service was nill, we had a quite cold night there and asked for some hot water to prepare a te but they refused to provide it... it was just hot water!!!...
The room another story, there was space only for the 2 single beeds and our bags, it was quite noicy and they did not pick up the garbage untill we left on t

A bit far away and not quite what we were expecting (It was kind of like a trailor park) but it was economical and we have our own secure room. It was easy to get to using the public buses, just a pain that you can only stay in venice until about 10 or else you risk having to pay for a cab all the way back.

Stayed in a cabin so used the camp ground showers & toilets which weren't very clean. The main drawback though is the distance from the city.

Shuttle bus is handy if during peek season but if not make sure you get in early or you get left behind and have to get a cab. Staff didnt seem very happy about having to do their job. Good for what your paying for it.

I'm sure this was a great hostel. When we got there we found that everyone was extremely young and that its located about 20 minutes out side of the city. We didn't stay there but it seemed very nice and clean and had great transportation.

The 4 euro return bus service was a bit steep and got slightly repetitive but apart from that, the canpsite had good links to the city. The cabins were basic but comfortable and clean, the showers had plenty of hot water.
