Since it was my kinda first stay at a hostel I might not be the one with a lot of comparison and earlier experiences, but I must say this was a great hostel. Clean kitchen, nice neighbourhood close to the city centre and Victoria park in one direction, and the two coolest streets I've seen in a while in the other direction (Ponsonby and K'road). Really nice garden with barbecue every other night and nice staff as well. I would definitely recommend this hostel to you guys. Patric, from Sweden ~ 5th Jan 2013

The staff was very friendly and helpful with my questions about getting around. I really appreciated their time and efforts to help me. The only thing that was difficult for me was a locked bathroom door early in the morning. When you have to go, it's hard to wait another 30 minutes for someone to unlock it!! Maybe add a bathroom key to travelers' keys so they're not bursting while waiting for a toilet :) Amy, from USA ~ 29th Nov 2012
