Breakfast area is not smoke-free. In fact, the young man in the servery was smoking behind the counter. Also, staff smoke in the stairwell.I suppose this is Malaysia, but I think the Singgahsana Lodge claims to be smoke-free. Great place to stay, welcoming and helpful staff despite problems will hostels.com booking. We are two aged back packers from the UK and we felt really comfortable in this hostel - much more character than much more expensive hotels up the road.
