I felt 100% safe at this Hostel, and would definitely stay again if I ever went back to Munich. It is located right near a U-bahn station, and is within walking distance to McDonalds, an italian restaurant, and multiple supermarkets and convenience stores. The ensuite bathrooms were regularly cleaned and I was pleasantly surprised. It is very much a student-oriented hostel. Staff was super helpful. If you are in Munich to go to Oktoberfest, ok. That's an all right place to stay, because of the location and the facilities. If not, look for another hostel, because this doesn't feel like one. They book large groups, so this isn't a place to meet people... They do not have lockers for the bags. Only tiny lockers for wallets. In the other hand, congrats for the cleanliness. Ci siamo fermati solo una notte in 3 amici ma le camere sono veramente spaziose e pulite come i bagni, e addirittura c'era una doccia più grande di quella di casa (evento eccezionale in un ostello). 20€ a notte non comprendono la colazione (surplus a 4,90€) ma la posizione è molto buona in 3 fermate si è in pieno centro, ed in caso di oktoberfest si è vicinissimi, circa 200 m Giovanni, from Italy ~ 26th May 2013

This is a slightly above average hostel.Nothing particularly special but at least there is a billiards table, lounge chairs, and a bar.The room had a small bathroom for maybe 8-10 of us, and the lockers were not the best.One of the girls working was nice, but the male receptionists were not that helpful.One of them could barely help me understand the laundry machine and the other I'm pretty sure shortchanged me, whether by accident or not, he was convinced he gave me the right change. The renovated floors and especially the rooms were really nice. Nothing too much but not too little either. All necessities were there! One morning I went to see the breakfast but decided not to eat (about 5 € if I remember correctly) because the table was almost empty at that time, 10 am. Went to the baker's instead and it was great! There was this one girl (dark-haired, maybe curly?)at the reception who was really helpful, nice and genuinely hospitable. più che un ostello sembra un hotel, con camere spaziose, abbastanza pulite e sempre calde, oltre ad avere un bar nella hall e biliardo e calcio-balilla al piano interrato. ottimo per chi, come me e i miei amici (ragazzi di 20 anni), vuole pernottare a monaco senza spendere troppo per l'alloggio. inoltre la fermata della metropolitana è a meno di 100 metri, nonostante si possa raggiungere il centro (Marienplatz) anche a pieidi, con una passeggiata di circa 20 minuti. The blonde lady that helped us check in was out of this world nice. Very accomodating, as was everyone else on staff. The hostel doesnt have free wifi, and the internet only worked in the lobby. The kitchen was so dirty/smelly that people were opening the door, taking one look/whiff and walking right back out. The rooms were really nice. Very open, and clean. It was nice to have a bathroom in each room as well. In fact, this hostel has the nicest rooms out of any we have ever stayed in. RUHI, from USA ~ 19th Dec 2012
