our private bathroom was across the hall and I thought it was in our room. The staff were very helpful as we had a car and they took care of all the parking for us as the same price as paying for paid parking, we could not park on thre streets. Diana, from USA ~ 4th Feb 2012

Really well located, just 3 minutes by walk to "Puente Vechio" and the main street. It is located in Piazza Pitti. The staff is great. I would stay for sure again. Many thanks Jorge, from Mexico ~ 24th Nov 2011

The direction given was very clear.Took about 20 mins to walk to the hostel but really enjoyed the sights while walking.The hostel is right outside of the museum.Supermarket is couple of mins away. The room was very small, could hardly move.The office is supposed to be open from 8 to 10 but was sometimes unmanned therefore one needed to wait. Great location but many negatives.Difficult to find, no identifying features other than a name tag by the bell.Reception closes at 11, during the night there is no assistance available.Even during open hours they are often out of the office.Bathroom does not lock and there is only one per floor.Staff speak Italian almost exclusively.Electricity went out out on our floor and we struggled to communicate this.Any additional service, towel, AC, breakfast is an additional charge. Great place. Convenient location, very clean, rooms double lock from within, shared bathroom well maintained. Staff is very helpful (and most are also well-mannered). 4/5 on security only because if you leave your bags before check-in or after check-out they are just piled in a corner in the (constantly monitored but still more or less public) common area.
