While booking the hotel, I looked at pictures from nice rooms. Not a wonderful hotel, but it looked clean and totally fair for the price. As we arrived, we get a very small room with a incredibly dirty bathroom. Seriously. I would prefer a clean bathroom, without hair from the people who used it before me and without mildew and dust (if the room has a heater: CLEAN IT!), than nice arranged towels. The woman receptionist was very unprofessional. She was a Black woman who was there when we first checked in. The rest of the staff we met in our stay was nice. She was just really rude. The Hostel is very old, the staff wasn't very friendly and the room (double bed) is very small. Also, I left some coins and subway tolkens from my city (Philadelphia, not even Washington) and went to dinner. When I came back, the coins and tolkens were gone. Initially, I thought they had cleaned the room and picked as tip but they didn't had cleaned anything. It was about $12 in coins and tolkens. I don't recommend this hostel to anybody.
