I've been using SYHA (and YHA) for more than 40 years, and the standards of comfort, hygiene, and facilities has rocketed.However, so has the cost: £17+ to stay in a nigh-empty hostel in April seems like a peak-season tariff and is too steep. Kate, from Scotland ~ 21st Apr 2012
