The hostel is huge, new, and clean. Beds were comfy, you have an outlet and light by each bed, and the lockers are the best. But the tradeoff is no sense of culture. The staff don't volunteer a run-down of the city, the hostel was dominated by loud, massive groups of high schoolers on school trip, and the lounge is on its own floor (so people aren't forced to walk through it). Also you have to metro to get to most sites, which is okay besides when the metro is closed late at night. John, from USA ~ 25th Apr 2013

Great Hostel. Staff was very nice and very well informed about anything in Barcelona. The room was very clean and the bathroom was clean but cramped. Great view and although the location is not near the center, it is one block away from the metro which is quite nice. Breakfast was very bland but considering it was included with the stay, I can't complain since they covered all of the basic food groups and it was buffet style. Stayed in a 8 person dorm. Had lockers that locked with your door key so that was nice. Wasn't the cleanest room I've had. People would show up for their bed and the sheets wouldn't be changed or anything. But I only paid about 9 dollars a night, so I guess you get what you pay for. Hostel full of teenagers/students from Western Europe, especially the UK...Very comfortable beds , spacious lockers, clean, bathrooms have all what you need, the showers are tiny but the big plus (for girls) is that you can take a shower in them and not wet your hair if you dont want to... Breakfast is rather poor just cheap jam, some cereals, bradc rolls...I didnt like the staff I dealt with-not helpful, only when they want you to join the outing to the club...
