I stayed in Ostello del Plebiscito only at the weekend and have got unforgettable memories about this place. The hostels staff were really cool and very friendly, the atmosphere was very positive and relaxing. Rooms are big enough, beds are comfortable and bathrooms are clean. If you don't want to eat out you have a chance to try some types of homemade sicilian or italian food at the restaurant on the first floor. It is a wonderful place to stay in Catania. J'ai ete enchantee de cette auberge de jeunesse. Son personnel est tres serviable, tres attentif aux demandes, toujours disponible. De taille humaine, il permet des contacts entre les voyageurs, ce qui est tres enrichissant, au niveau humain. Very very good hostel, friendly, welcoming and helpful - like a family.Staying there was like living at home - freedom to do all the normal things.Staff were very accommodating.Would return there anytime, with friends or family or alone.10 mins walk from the city centre but more like 20 mins to the main train station.
