NOTE: I STAYED AT ATHENSTYLE...this is their hostel in central Athens. All of my review pertains to Athenstyle, not Northern Backpackers. Plan accordingly. The staff is exceptional; the location is central; the tone is quiet, but open for social opportunities on the beautiful rootop terrace

We only stayed there one night. It was a very nice place and VERY clean. However, the beds were very uncomfortable and it was difficult to find. I would have loved to stay at this hostel for the rest of my trip, but it was too far away. I have heard, however, that this couple are opening another place in the center of the city. If I went back to Athens, I'd probably look into staying at that place. Also, I think the owners are working on a map-- That would be very helpful.

This place is new, neat, clean, and a comfortable place to end your day. My only complaints are that is no where's near the city center- it's a bus and metro ride away ~40-60 minutes and the main dorm area is in the same room as the common/kitchen area, so you can't really stay up late hanging out or get up early for breakfast without disturbing others.
