This is a typical hostel. Dull but comfortable rooms. Pretty well located - it takes about 15-20 mins on foot to the centre of Vienna (tram is obviously quicker). It was fine - not fantastic but definitely a good safe choice. It is part of a chain of hostels, so you get a discount if you book through them for another of their hostels (only 5% though).

The room was clean, more or less... the staff was nice, the kitchen was nice too, there is like one on each floor so you can meet people. There is only one key for the room but you have to let it at the front desk when you leave so it's ok. Good point : there is 2 big rooms on the first floor to chill out while your is being cleaned up.

Talk about one of the worst experiences... no joke, I got in on a train at 6.30 pm. It took me 3 HOURS to find this place. The directions on here and on their website are complete s**t. I didn\'t get there until almost 9.30 on the dot. Their staff is condesending and when you have a problem they don\'t seem to want to do a thing about it and sigh when you ask them too. Don\'t be fooled by the description of full kitchen either. They have a lack of cutlery and utensils and no fridge except the one at the staff desk that services the entire building. Yes, they have free net, and that means waiting usually an hour for it. Cold atmoshpere outside of that, and it\'s definitely not in the city centre. To get to the main city attractions you need to take the tram and do a line change. No hot water after about 8, so you have to get up early if you want a hot shower. The only good thing about this place is the cute little rats they use to hold the keys (stuffed animal rats).
