We have double, twin rooms, dorm bed available . Each room has air-conditioning and all shared rooms with secure lockers. On the 1st floor, we have a bar, an DVD room, a mini-gym, a reading room and a sitting room.

Nice, cozy house with clean allthough a bit smoke smelling room (double private). Value for money paid is very good. Location is a bit on the side of downtown bustle, but who wants to buy Rolexes on Nanjing Lu anyway.

All the girls that work the front desk are really nice and are more than willing to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They will help you find places in and around the city and even help plan your trip for you. The food and drink that they sell is marked up for forgieners but there are shops a stones throw away from the grounds that will sell for local prices. An easy walk to two train stations. If I ever come back to Shanghai, I will not hesitate to shack up here again.

Overall good experience. Staff is friendly, and their english is not bad - I spoke a little Chinese, they spoke a little English, so we got by fine. The location isn't fantastic, but it is within a 5 minute walk to a metro stop, so even though the location isn't the most convenient, you can still easily reach any location within the city.

Le tour is near line 3 and is best to access during daytime. The area around the hostel is really dark at nighttime which might be freightening to some.
