My disatisfaction was due to the lack of consideration for others by other guests. The staff were friendly, maybe too friendly and relaxed about peoples unsociable behaviour. I wouldnt recommend it to a friend - whod choose to stay somewhere you cant see the floor in the dorms for stuff strewn all over it, people screaming & shouting/clambering out onto the fire escape to smoke/turning the lights on all through the night, & having sex in the dorm.

Well First i don't know why this hostel was number 1 actually because i mean there is nothing special the staff is not really Fun and oh really small hostel no party after 11pm so kind of boring no activity.. so go there for 2 night big max not more .. whatever 2 staff the irish and the american fron L.A are fun men.
Good place to put your head down, but very narrow building makes you feel on top of each other. Would Stay there again.

Cool place, but they didn't change the cheats for me and I didn't have any place to store my stuff because my boxs was taken. But it's perfect to stay at. Helpt me by telling me where to go in San Fran and where not to go. And the most importent, the cheats are clean and so is the bathroom.

it kind of grossed me out that my bottom sheets were picked, but i could deal with it. also the room smelled like body odor. actually, the hostel struck me as very clean. the friendly staff was helpful with sharing advice on where to go; knew what was cool around sf. i was most surprised with how trusting everyone was to leave their stuff just lying out, so it seemed like a safe place
