The only good thing is that its Amsterdam, and you can just chill on the stoop next to the entrance and toke up. Thats it. And it wasn't far from Vondel Park.

This hostel provides a place to sleep but not much more. It is located by a ton of restaurants and bars, the museums are mostly within easy walking distance., but the area is pretty noisy at night. The bathrooms and shower are kept pretty clean, but are small.

I stayed for a week, so I got a pretty accurate picture of the place. Great staff! I've been traveling for over a month and these guys are the friendliest management I've run into so far. VERY friendly and always helpful. The breakfast is just bread with jam/pb/choc spread plus oj/coffee. The rooms are nice with a sink, although the bathrooms are a bit small. This said, there are def enough bathrooms and showers for everyone and the place is safe. The location is excellent for nightlife -- right next to all the best clubs and bars. It is a bit away from the Red Light District -- about a 25 minute walk, or a 3 minute tram ride. No wifi, but there are two computers that are connected to the internet. Overall, I would definitely stay here next time I'm in town.

I just put 'average' for each field, but I didn't actually stay at the Granada--we booked it, but they were full and sent us across the street to Hotel Orfeo, which I'm assuming is a sister hostel. Maybe Granada gets better ratings, but in terms of Orfeo, the halls and bathrooms smelt REALLY bad. On a positive note, all the staff was really helpful and friendly.
