One guy was very rude to me on the phone. Sure, I was cancelling my reservation, and he was busy, but he should still have been a little more polite. Remember the power of word of mouth.

Not the party spot of Paris, I liked the smaller rooms. Location is not bad, right next to the gare de Lyon. Breakfast made me laugh it's packaged croissants out of a vending machine. But chances are you are on a budget, so you can save some of your breakfast for a snack later on.

It works as a place to sleep. Not the cleanest, but serves its purpose. Its convenient, and the staff was friendly. The bathrooms on the first floor seem to get the most use, so head up to the 2nd or 3rd floor for slightly cleaner facilities.

If you go there alone I would rather say not to stay here unless you get a private room. The hostel provide just one key for dorm room. In my case, one guy just came inside and told me he was my room mate, and I just believed him and when i came back from supermarket my bag has disappeared. It could have happend to anybody. and that day another guy\'s bag has stolen as well. Futhermore the receptionist said he didn\'t know where police staion is, even though it was 10min distance from hostel. This hostel is just about location, no less no more.
