Give this place a chance. I stayed here 12 days and its really not bad at all. Grier, the Canadian receptionist, is awesome. The staff works pretty hard to keep the place clean, & are mostly pretty laidback. You have access to a fully equipped kitchen, minus a full-sized oven. The courtyard is the best common area and has a centralized layout, this -intentionally or not- promotes socialization. Combine this with cheap French wine, and you get regular fun parties. I met my current girlfriend there. Some people had food and property stolen from them, but if you´re smart, you can avoid this. It´s right next to a metro stop. As one of the cheapest hostels in Paris, I recommend it. But try to avoid the 12-bed dorm (#13), its noisy and the bathroom always has a puddle in it. And use the upstairs shower if you can, there´s more room.

Is a bad hostel! Around the place is not safe, you don´t feel in Paris realy. The only good thing are the room mades

The location is really nice just across the street from the Metro and walking distance from Sacre Coeur. There's a clean bed to sleep on but bring a top sheet if you don't want the blankets they probably rarely wash touching your skin.

Pillows were non-existant and someone stole my food from the fridge. The other people that stayed there were grotty and would leave dishes piled up in the sink. I would not stay there again.

NOT RECON! Arrived early and did not check-in cause the room was being cleaned, but we paid 300.00 euros(total amount) n decided to go back @ 3. I booked an ensuite, but there was no toilet, filthy, plugs no wrking and stunk of cleaning prod. After 15 min stay, I asked my money back n they said it was my mistake to not check-in once arrived and I paid extra 65.00 euros to leave! I was robbed! Area not safe at all, lots of dealers @ the door n station. Staff completely rude!
