The place is very Ukrainian. I'd say all categories are tip-top. Robert, the manager, is really a great help. He personally arranged tours of Chernobyl and he also drove us to a shooting range to fire off AK-47s. When I decided to stay in Kiev longer, but the hostel was all booked, he arranged other accomodations. Only downsides are there's only one bathroom (it's Ukraine) and the mattresses aren't great.

This hostel was a great place to stay. It is very well located in downtown and everything is near by. The owner is very friendly and knowledgable about the city.

A really central hostel in a safe part of the city, most attractions within walking distance or short metro ride. The staff are helpful and accommodating and helped to arrange extra accommdation for some nights when the hostel was fully booked. The other backpackers here made the atmosphere fun. Everyone was inclusive for nights out etc. We really enjoyed our stay.
