Hostel The Globe is situated in the Red Light District and overlooks one of the famous canals of Amsterdam. It is only a 3 minute walk from the Central Station. The hostel has twin, triple and quadruple rooms as well as big and small dorms to offer.

Grungy, kind of loud. Gets the job done, but you get what you pay for. While we were there a week ago, one shower didn't drain so you stood in dirty shower water, and the other showers light bulbs were out. Bar is cool downstairs.

Great hostel! Awesome location, right in the thick of the action and quite close to the Central Station. Clean, comfortable beds, free WiFi, good sized lockers. Security was tops. Met some great people, had alot of good times, would most definately stay here again if I happen to be back in Amsterdam.

This hostel is a good spot. We actually paid for 20 person room and gpt a 6 person room which was brill. enjoyable experience and as for the American Breakfast ah its gorgeous.
