Great things about hostel are the location - not far from the train station and right next to the royal mile and the bunks don't squeak!! We were in a big dorm but was very quiet. The only thing is the smell in the stairwells is a little yuck, but from what I hear most hostels in the city have the same problem.

This hostel is in a great location just off of the royal mile and right around the corner from many pubs. The free thursday pub crawl is a great venue for meeting other travelers and some cheap drinks. i would definitely stay here again.

great place to stay! staff were friendly and answered all questions. rooms were clean and right in the old town centre! would definately stay again!

not a very big place, the common area can get quite loud so if ur not up for a big night and just want to relax it makes it very hard. but it was fine for somewhere to sleep.
