Wayne welcomes you to Alice's Secret Travellers Inn, a cozy, QUIET and relaxed hostel nestled in the middle of Australia's red centre.
This hostel continues to be 'a work in progress', this year is all about painting in an effort to create a cleaner, brighter, fresher 'home away from home' for YOU!
The smallest hostel in 'the Alice', we are tucked away in a quiet street just opposite arid bush land and near our Botanic Gardens, yet only a five minute walk from the town centre. Being the smallest, we pride ourselves on our cleanliness and friendliness and we are happy to give you that extra bit of attention you will miss in the bigger places.
Alice's Secret is an old fashioned communal hostel with shared facilities, which means there are a lot of places to get together and share experiences with fellow travellers. Communal facilities include a fully equipped self catering kitchen; cozy tv/video lounge with a huge collection of videos and DVD's for those days when you just want to be a lounge lizard; and a spacious and green backyard complete with bbq, sparkling saltwater swimming pool and abundant birdlife.
Rooms are clean and comfortable, air conditioned in summer (unless otherwise stated - we offer non aircon rooms at discounted rates!) and heated in winter. All linen and duvets are provided.
Our accredited Travel Agency can advise and ensure bookings with all major tour companies (Australia wide). Booking your tours from us will definitely save you time and money!
Beds are limited so book now and 'share the secret'!
We offer WiFi when you book your tours through us (must have your own laptop), safe off street parking and luggage storage
CHECK-IN: 12-2pm, then 4pm-7pm...
NOT A PARTY HOSTEL! NO LATE NOISE! Intoxicated guests will be asked to leave. No visitors after 7pm!
Daytime visitors only by arrangement with Management.
We have a 48 hour cancellation policy, in other words we need your cancellation IN WRITING by12pm ACST, 2 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR CHECK-IN DATE (we are SMALL, so this is neccassary).. Otherwise we will access your credit card details and charge you for the first night of your booking in accordance with HOSTELWORLD'S POLICY!

Really nice place to stay. The owner Wayne was welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Stayed there 2 nights before and after my tour to Uluru. Different rooms but both were very clean. Would definitely stay here again. :-) Elaine, from Ireland ~ 10th Apr 2013
