Welcome to El Viajero Hostels South America. We are a Hostel and B&B network located in the best places of Uruguay (Colonia, Montevideo, Punta del Este and La Pedrera), Colombia (Cartagena de Indias and San Andres Island) and Paraguay (Asuncion).

Our Hostel is placed in a totally restored old mansion, which has 2 huge common rooms, bar and barbeque, a beautiful colonial backyard with hammocks and lot of local vegetation.
We are the only Hostel in Asuncion with swimming pool allowing you to have a fresh bath during the hot paraguayan summer (that last 10 months).
For your comfort we offer double rooms en-suite with aircon and cable tv. We also have ensuite dorms, and we are the only hostel in Asuncion with aircon in all our rooms.
Our service includes: breakfast with a wide range of local fruits and juices, bed linen, hot water 24 hours, free Internet & WI-FI, laundry service, public telephone, bike rental.
We organize activities for you, both inside and outside the Hostel: Asados and typical foods, walking tours.
Paraguay is the best kept secret of South America. Only 300 km from Iguazu, Asuncion is known for its endless and crazy nightlife, called MOMO (Monday to Monday) with irrisories prices.
