Met a wide range of people, from an old writer Mike to Leah,young female navigator of oil tankers. Even locals ie Americans were delightful and helpful ie Chris. Free DIY laundry much appreciated. Philip, from Australia ~ 3rd Nov 2012

Easy walk to restaurants and downtown. Seemed fairly safe and had no issues, although it was suggested I take a cab at night. Hominy grill 4 blocks away is excellent. Hostel is lacking character and has no decent central common area. Staff was friendly would stay here again. Scott, from USA ~ 13th Jul 2012
