My second stay in 3 years, clean and quiet but please please have a real kitchen (why not a small one on each floor ???) very small kitchen missing cutlery (no forck..... at all) and everything - a shame ! Colette, from France ~ 8th Mar 2013

We had a nice room right in the center of christchurch, but the staff was rather unfriendly and woke us one morning to check out even though we stayed longer (afterwards they apologized for that). The kitchen was ridiculously small and the atmosphere was spoiled by a TV, so everyone just sits quietly in front of the telly. after all i've had much better hostels with bigger kitchens and a better atmosphere for less money.
