I was actually more like a hotel where you just shared a shower. My boyfriend and I loved our double bed single room. Very clean and cute and a GREAT location for accessibility to both the east and west end of Glasgow. The room was great and cozy. If you are looking for like a typical Hostel experience with meeting other travelers and whatnot, this most likely is not hte place for you. It's more quite and secluded, which we liked alot as a break in our trip. Gretchen, from USA ~ 17th Jan 2013
