Have stayed in several hostels in Mirador Mansions and Chungking Mansion.Toms Guest House is one of the better ones.Owner and staff very friendly.Excellent location for visiting Hong Kong in heart of Kowloon.MTR subway 2 minute walk.Entry to building similar to lively market in Southeast Asia or Middle East.Single room very small about 10 square meters and may not have window.
