MIXED DORM DOUBLE BEDS
Please note that ONLY our 9-Bed and 12-Bed mixed dorms are equipped with DOUBLE BEDS, all with their own curtains and lights. Therefore you only need to book ONE GUEST for two people sharing a double bed.
MIXED DORM SINGLE BEDS
The 4-Bed and 5-Bed mixed dorms are equipped with SINGLE BEDS, so you need to book ONE BED per guest.
Welcome to Palmers Lodge, where you can experience Victorian elegance in the former home of Samuel Palmer, of the Huntley and Palmers biscuit empire. Built in 1881, this substantial house has been restored to its original glory in order to offer our guests not just budget accommodation but also a unique experience during their stay in London.
We have a wide selection of dorms; from private rooms to a 28-bed dorm for the really price conscious traveler. Great care has been taken in furnishing our spacious rooms to the highest standard with top quality bunks and secure storage facilities.
Guests can enjoy FREE Internet and WiFi access in the lobby, relax in the lounge or have a drink with friends in our bar. A FREE continental breakfast, served in the dining room, is included in the price.
Our large and beautiful lounge is a great place to meet new friends .Our bar is a great place to hang out with cheap drinks every night of the week!! Both lounge and bar are equipped with large flat screen TVs.
If your going out then take the tube from either Swiss Cottage or Finchley Road tube stations and in a few minutes you can be in the heart of the City. If you're having a really late night then you can catch the night bus back from Trafalgar Square! There is also plenty to do on Finchley road with two cinemas, the Hampstead Theatre, pubs, restaurants and the O2 shopping centre. Just ask our staff for ideas!
This beautiful building gives our guests the chance not just to see London's history but also to sleep in it! The restoration has added all modern facilities without spoiling the building's character and guests can be assured by our conscientious staff, security card system and commitment to the highest standards. Our mission is to provide comfortable, secure, clean and spacious accommodation to the budget traveler. Don't just see London's history; live in it for a while!
Check in from 2pm or leave your bags before - security lockers are available in various sizes for luggage storage outside the rooms - these cost £2 or £3.
Check out is 11am with breakfast 7.30am to 10am.
Photo ID required at check in - Bookings cannot be accepted by anyone under the age of 18 unless they are accompanied by an adult of the same gender.
Towels are not included in 'Linen' but can be purchased or hired from reception.
Please note that we do not currently have self catering facilities. A microwave and kettle are available for guest use. Snacks are available in the Bar seven days a week and included pizzas and panini's, while our Restaurant is open Mon-Fri offering a delicious and cheap menu. There are also many, many restaurants within a short walk!
Although we do have wheelchair access availability of wheelchair access rooms is limited. Please email the reception to check availability

i thought i wasn't going to sleep much in a 12 beds dorm, but i was wrong, every bedsit has its own curtain for your privacy. and then, lovely common areas, such as a bar, a living-room, a patio. and if at evening you are tired and no will to go out, stop with other guests to watch a movie! barbara, from Italy ~ 20th Nov 2009
