over Mildura International Backpackers
Address: 5 Cedar Avenue, Mildura, Australia
Mildura International Backpackers is Mildura's friendliest working hostel. We are just a short walk to the centre of Mildura and close to the Information Centre, shops, bus transport, hotels, pubs, cafes and the mighty Murray River.
We do our best to help you find work in the local area but understand we cannot guarantee there will be a job available for you. It is best to check the work situation with us. We have transport available to get you there.
If you call us to pre-arrange it, we are usually able to pick you up on arrival whether by bus or by air.
Mildura is an ideal location to break your journey from Sydney or Canberra to Adelaide or Perth. We are the closest major town to Mungo National Park.
We can pick you up from the bus station or airport and we generally do not have a set check out time which means you still have a place to stay right up until your transport departs.
We offer all the usual facilites, for example a pool table, internet, table tennis, cable tv , a laundry and the best ... a free weekly barbeque.
Most of our rooms have 2 beds, some have 3 and some have 4.
We have 2 kitchens so you should always be able to prepare food when you want to.
People tell us we are one of the cleanest hostels they have stayed in ... yes, we do our best to keep it clean but our guests also respect the place and (most of the time) clean up too.
We look forward to welcoming you.
We do not accept credit cards, so please have cash available on arrival. If you are coming to stay and hope to obtain seasonal work, it is usually a good idea to check with us first to see what work may be available.

I was very impressed with my stay, which actually saw me accommodated at the Mildura Stopover Hostel (the sister hostel of Mildura International Backpackers). It was very clean, well equipped and staff/guests all seemed very friendly. The main plus point was it\'s location - within easy walking distance to the town, wharf area etc. I would definitely recommend! Jenny, from England ~ 22nd Aug 2012
