Chelsea International Hostel in New York, Amerika

Our Hostel is one of the largest independent Hostel in New York City. The Chelsea International Hostel is located in the historic Chelsea district of Manhattan; just north of Greenwich Village and south of Midtown Manhattan (between 7th and 8th Avenues).

We have an outdoor courtyard, a common dining area and two common kitchens. Free continental breakfast is served in our dining area. You will be welcome to enjoy a variety of bagels, cereal, fresh fruits, coffee, milk and tea.

This policy is also valid for American and Canadian citizens. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Payment is due full upon arrival, by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Traveler Checks or Cash.

KEY DEPOSIT:
A $10 deposit (cash only) per person is required at check-in and is refundable upon return of keys on time.

BEDS/ROOM ASSIGNMENTS
Beds and rooms are allocated on the arrival day. We will do our best to accommodate you, but there is no guarantee a group of 2 or more people will be in the same room nor can we guarantee a booking will have the same bed and room throughout the duration of your stay.

BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS. We provide bed linen, but not towels.

BRING YOUR OWN PADLOCK (THICK, MEDIUM SIZE)
We provide lockers in every room, but we do not provide locks.

CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOW POLICY
Please note that any cancellation or change must be notified directly to the hostel at least 24 hours before arrival date, in case of NO-SHOW the total of first night of each guest will be charged onto your credit card regardless the reason. We are not responsible for weather conditions, illnesses, flight delays or flight cancellations. The 10% deposit is for each night's accommodation. If you cancel any night, then the deposit for that night will be lost.

Please note that taxes are not included in the listed rates and shall be applied upon check-in. NYS/NYC sale tax is 14.75%, while occupancy taxes are $3.50 per night. A valid passport is required in order to check in. This policy is also valid for American and Canadian citizens. No exceptions. Please note that we do not permit guests under the age of 18. We have a 24hr cancellation policy. Late cancellations, late changes and no-shows shall be charged the equivalent of the first night's accommodation. The 10% deposit is for each night's accommodation. If you cancel any night, then the deposit for that night will be lost. Common areas are open from 7am to 11pm, including the kitchens, computer room, courtyard and Wi-Fi areas. There is a maximum stay of 14 nights. Beds and rooms are allocated on the arrival day. We will do our best to accommodate you, but there's no guarantee that groups of two or more people will be in the same room. Bring your own towels; we provide bed linen, but not towels. Bring your own padlock (thick, medium size). There are lockers in every room but no locks.
