I stayed with a friend in a lovely and (extremely) clean ensuite room and paid hostel prices! Very close to Nice Ville (with heavy suitcases, no more than 5 minutes, you could probably run it in less than 1 ;) and located on Nice's main shopping strip so we went grocery shopping at the huge Monoprix 8 minutes away. At the time their internet had been down so we had to go to the McDonald's opposite for wifi but otherwise a great stay. The elevators, fluffy towels and cable TV were much appreciate Katherine, from Australia ~ 9th Feb 2010
