Ocean views & sea breezes, no floods or tsunami here, Big John, the self estranged Australian, of Bangkok Hostel infamy, has done it again, only bigger & better. From the awesome views at Beach On The Hill BBQ on the roof, to large communal entertainment area on the lower level you'll find Chil-axn.com the ideal place to chill & relax with old & new friends, in between enjoying the near by beach, bars, restaurants & night life, frequented by friendly locals & tourists. Oh and the best Ribs & Sauce in Cambodia. Until the end of October we're offering massive long stay savings when you pay in advance with private rooms from just $4.
Located close to the bus station, beach, port and Post Office, with lone travelers as well as couples, groups, friends and family in mind. Cambodia, Asian & Western, everyone, as long as they have ID, is welcome here. No soft foam - wake up with a back ache - mattresses here, all ours are firm inner sprung.
Accommodation Information
The building has recenetly been renovated, all the rooms are big, have natural light/windows, private bathrooms and as much as they are available for single or double use are able to accommodate 3, 4 or even 5 people for just a few dollars extra per person. We also have Female and Mixed dorms. All the rooms have dead locks on the doors. Free high speed, fiber optic internet and wifi. There are also cctv cameras throughout the building for added security, lockable boxes in all the rooms, and lockers to keep your most valuable items safe.
There's a pool table and big screen/LCD TV dvd player in the downstairs communal/entertainment area and a darts board on the roof, along with sun chairs, a sandpit, which can be used as both a little kids play pit and for bigger kids to play petanque / boules. There are also 2 big screen tvs on the roof, making watching major events more fun.

Victory Hill, near Victory beach. Not far from the bus station, restaurants and night life, as well as the port, for those traveling to Islands, like Koh Ru and Koh Rong. Not forgetting the awesome view of the surrounding area and the ocean.
Chil-axn Cocktails from $0,75. 50cent beers 5.30-6.30pm daily. All you can eat BBQ & Pasta buffet Wed & Sat 6-9pm. $6. BBQ Tuna, Salad, Chips $2.50 VISA Cards accepted at reception, Guests are requested to not smoke in the building. Food & drinks from outside can be brought into and consumed in the lower area. A surcharge will apply for drinks & food from outside consumed at Roof On The Hill BBQ on the rooftop. Island day cruises, snorkeling & scuba. Hot water & Air-con optional.

This place is more of a place where employees and their families can hang out than a hostel. Children are running around everywhere and making lots of noise in the mornings. TV/common room is always occupied by staff or their children. Toilets didn't flush. Room was only badly cleaned once during our 5 night stay. If you decide to eat in the restaurant - don't expect much else than a niceview. Also, don't do you washing here - they ruined my clothes. Marlene, from Norway ~ 16th Jan 2013
