Welcome to Varanasi and welcome to Old Yogi Lodge where we have had the privilege of welcoming our guests from all around the world. Ours is a family run guest house known for personalised attention by the hosts themselves.
The Old Yogi Lodge is situated in a peaceful, eco friendly old City locality of Luxa Road which is Nearest Main Ghat, 15min walking Distance to the Holy River Ganges, Temples & other Tourist Activities. Our guest house is 20 minutes away from Bus stand and railway station and 1 hour away from the air port.
This is an affordable guest accommodation with all modern amenities. We ensure that your feel cozy and comfortable while staying with us. Every visitor is highly preferred customer of esteem.
Arriving at Varanasi by rail then pickup will be free . by Air then it will be chargeble INR; 600 only. from Mughalsarai station will be INR 250 only.
Please, be careful with taxi drivers and ‘local illegal’ guides at the station/airport. We had the "en suite" room with private bathroom. The room was on ground floor with wooden shutters opening to the street where a cow lived. No smell though, just a funny Moooh in the morning. The room is big, bathroom not so big, but worked fine, had hot water every time we tried. Staff was friendly, internet worked. It's about a 20 minute walk away from the riverside, straightforward to walk. Finding the Lodge may have been complicated, so the free pick-up service came in handy. Prices are different from the website, the food is expensive and poor, don\'t forget to write down everything you pay for the checkout and ask for a receipt to compare it, because the owner is not honest and disrespectful. Simon, from France ~ 3rd Jun 2012
