I booked the hostel in advance, but it turned out to be overbooked by the time I arrived. I was offered a dorm free of charge and a breakfast, however my deposit, paid when booking, was kept and I was still charged for the linen and the towels.

This was a great hostel. I would defiantly stay here again. I had fun and the staff were great. They were the most helpful staff that I have seen at a hostel. This hostel has everything; a washer/dryer, kitchen, a nice park, pool table, and ping pong table. The only thing that they didn't have was salt, or an oven mitt ouch! Typical rooms with a sink in each. There is a nice park outside with soccer nets and picnic benches. Tram ride wasn't a big deal. The hostel crowd was older than most hostel

The description of this hostel was a little misleading. I had said I was going to arrive at about 9am - and was not informed that I would have to wait until 4pm to check in.
The breakfast was probably the highlight; I'm glad that was included. Other than that, the staff was pretty unhelpful. The location is pretty inconvenient, since you have to walk through this huge valley up a hill to get to the hostel. But it's a pretty view from there, if you don't mind a hike.

Nice hostel, although a bit far out of the way, about a 10 minute bus/tram ride to get downtown. It may be walkable, but I didn't try. It is in a nice location though, residential and safe. I'd stay here again.
