The main problem with this campsite was that it had no communal kitchen, no cutlery, plates, bowls, cups, utensils. In other words, plan to buy all of your meals.
Also, it's a long way from Venice, and in quite a dodgy area. There's late night transport, but it stops 20-30 minutes walk from the campsite.
Plus, it costs to get in to Venice. So this place isn't as cheap as it seemed.

Long walk to it, convenient private bus to main city (islands) costs about 4euro roundtrip, tents are solid but only as secure as tents, ok food on site, some activities on site and swimming pool (we never used it).

CAMPING JOLLY is ideal when you want to visit Venice at low cost QND IN COMFORT! We bookes for a very bqsic tent and finally spent three comfortable nights in brand new beds. Showers qnd toilets werew VERY VERY clean, washed every hour by a sympathic and helpful STAFF , English, French and German are spoken at the reception et resttaurant services, supermarket and swimming pool are free accesson the site.

Ok place. Very cheap tents (w. beds). 10 min. walk to bus stop. Bus is about another 10 min. to Venice centre. I'd go back!

The camping is good but from the bus stop we had to walk 20 minutes, it is a long distance, however there is a bus leaving the camping site 9, 10 e 11am to Venice but only pick you up the earliest 8pm. The swimming pool area is lovely, great pool but it is open between 10 e 18 o'clock, so you have to decide either enjoy the pool or go to Venice. You must take a good repelent because even with the wipes repelents we got bitten loads. The 2 man tent is good and it is like a room but its a tent but

We were transferred to their new location at Piazza S. Marce. Excellent! You share the appartment with two other 2bed rooms. The apartment is brand new.
