We had booked by hostels.com for 25/08/2008 but they overbooked us, and they sent us to a other house which were very dirty, cold, unsafely, far and in a very strange neighborhood. There, we could see other girls were there, and they explained us why they are there, and their situation was the same of us, they have booked, and

This hostel is ok to stay in, but the rooms do have a bit of a musky smell to them. Odd bits and pieces needing repair all over the place but still an alright and safe place to stay

it's cheap accomodation, so price is okay. however, it's located near high street and for some reason, it's difficult to find places to have dinner in or have drinks in, in general. that's ca. 10minutes walk to the next eatery/pub. hostel offers tours and have all the leaflets, however, staff is not local so that's not much of a help. communal areas are rather shabby and they charge £1/bag for the luggage room.

3 bad nights sleep out of 3. Shouting - noise between 2- 4 0n eachnight.Have used many hostels before and never had this problem. No action taken against the perpetrators. A shame.
