Had a lot of fun here - great staff who were very helpful and really nice to just sit down and chat with. Met a lot of great people while I was here, and the location is fantastic! A few blocks from Times Square - can't get better than that!

the rooms were very small, the shower wasn't as clean as could be and two of the five days i stayed there the lights didn't work. and even though the atmosphere didn't really lend itself to meeting people i met some really awesome people. overall i enjoyed my stay and if i'm ever traveling solo to new york again i would consider returning

You won't find a better located hostel but it was dirty and the rooms are extremly tight. Too expensive for what you get.

The location is super. The problem is the lack of cleaning, especially the toilets. But the staff is friendly, I stayed there for several days and didn't have any problems. I would recommend it to other travellers.

This was, put simply, the filthiest place I have ever slept... and I have slept outside on any number of occasions. One night nobody could shower for around an hour becuse muddy water was streaming from the sinks and taps. The bathroom floor was covered in black grime for the entirety of my stay, I had to wear sandals to take a shower because otherwise having just washed, my feet would be filthy by the time I reached the bedroom. The beds were also hugely uncomfortable and the bedding w

the location of the hostel is right in the middle of manhattan, is a block away from times square. The staff are very kind, and the security is excellent. It shold be a little more clean, but don't forget to bring your flipflops. The internet is free!!!!

To be honest this place is nuts. Firstly I arrived at the address above the Chinese restaurant with all my bags only to find out that they had no 10 bed dorms in that location and all the 10 beds were located at another address about 5 blocks away!!! This led me to think there was a con going on but walked to the other place where the owner didnt say one word in English or even in any other language to me. Then there was just 1 loo between 10 of us...not a bad thing except the shower was in that

The only good thing I can say about this place is the location. Nothing else! The dorm was very very dirty and nobody cleaned it while I was there. The dorm had no windows and the stuff (just one person) doesn´t like to talk (he just feel happy when you talk about bills...). Don´t stay here! theres a lot of better and cheaper places !

The Hostel pictured is not exactly what you will get, it took the person running the Hostel an hour before he checked us in then told us we were not staying there but at a different one about 6 blocks away so we didn't get what is listed. The people that we stayed with are what made it fun and even though it says that he doesn't lock the door till two a.m. he locks it at midnight so safe but annoying. the bathroom and shower room where both dirty also but everyone in one room instead of splittin

the only thing following travelers should may know, is that there are two residences, which we didn't know before, so we thought we finally arrived, but then we had to go to another location. But besides that, my friends and I are really happy that we stayed there, the people in our room were really nice( of course that's changing from time to time) , it was really clean and just a 5 min. walk to the next subway station and maybe 7 min to times square . . .so i can just suggest to stay there :
